The M3W project took part in the AAL Forum 2013 (regular yearly conference and exhibition organized by the European AAL Joint Programme) by several ways of appearances in Norrköping, Sweden, between 24 and 26 September 2013.
M3W had a booth. Here, the conception, the scientific background, the methodology and the already achieved results of the development were shown. There was also a live demonstration: visitors were able to register on our website and start to play serious games. Representatives of M3W partners ‑ Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), Actimage, Gaudiopolis, Semmelweis University and Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) ‑ were present.
A short presentation about the scientific aspects and the interesting scientific results of the project was held by the scientific leader of the project, dr. Gábor Csukly, PhD, M.D. (Semmelweis Uni) in Session A1 on Neurodegenerative diseases and dementia.
A poster about the project showing the major objectives, the Early Pilot, the current status and the next steps as well as short information about the scientific aspects were presented in the digital “Virtual Poster Session” (i.e. all the posters were stored digitally and could be studied on numerous screens by choosing from the menu). The project coordinator, dr. Pál Breuer (BME) presented the poster in the live Poster Session.
A flyer summarising objectives, facts and figures, and presenting preliminary results of the project had also been prepared for the Forum and distributed during the event.
You may look at the poster and the flyer here. Photos taken at the AAL Forum are also available in the gallery.
